Ibn Battuta Mall, DRN launch the largest live radio promotion

Ibn Battuta Mall follows the adventures of famous Arabian traveller and explorer, Ibn Battuta. The adventures begin with The Trials of Ibn Battuta competition, which will be offering as much as Dhs230,000 in cash prizes, the biggest radio promotion ever in the UAE. The events, to be staged on 14-19 April 2005 at the Ibn Battuta Mall, will be broadcast live simultaneously over the seven radio stations of Dubai Radio Network (DRN) and Arabian Radio Network (ARN). The competition begins with the selection of the heroes that will represent seven radio stations from DRN and ARN in the Trials of Ibn Battuta, including Dubai Eye, Dubai 92, Dubai 93.9, City 101.6, Hit 96.7, Al Arabiya 98.9, Al Khaleejiya 100.9. Listeners will play an invaluable role in the selection process, as they will be responsible for selecting by SMS who they think should represent their favourite radio station to participate in the Trials of Ibn Battuta. Tune in to DRN and ARN stations and vote for your hero. SMS voters get the chance to win Dhs1,000 if they vote for the winning hero of their favourite radio station. The much anticipated games at the the Ibn Battuta Mall is open to the public, where fabulous prizes await lucky audience members.
