Combining luxury and trend setting design with the ultimate driving experience, the Cadillac CTS, has proven to be the most satisfactory in its segment. The 2006 CTS builds on Cadillac’s century-long tradition of technology and design innovations, and is a modern interpretation of the beautiful cars that made Cadillac famous. “CTS is one of the fundamental parts of Cadillac’s renaissance, signaling our return to rear-wheel drive performance and dramatic design,” said Chase Hawkins, premium brands director, General Motors Middle East. “It is successful on many levels, inviting new luxury buyers to Cadillac and helping change opinions.” According to a recent survey done in the United States, luxury sport sedan owners say CTS is the most satisfying car in its class. CTS earned first place in the Entry Luxury Car category in AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The award comes directly from the vehicle owners’ input of their experience with their vehicle. “Everyone has opinions about cars, but ultimately the strongest voice belongs to the buyer,” said Hawkins, “We’re very proud that CTS has been so consistently strong in terms of earning, and then satisfying, luxury car buyers. “Cadillac CTS owners in the Middle East can relate to this luxurious and unique driving experience as they expect nothing less than the highest of quality and design features that are associated with the Cadillac Brand.” CTS has logged sales increases since its launch in 2002 in the Middle East, helping Cadillac reach overall gains every year in this era. CTS sold more than 221 units in the region in 2006, contributing to Cadillac’s overall sales increase of 75% from 2004. The CTS comes either with a 2.8L V6 VVT engine that produces 210 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 263 Nm of torque at 3200 rpm or a 3.6L V6 VVT engine that develops 255 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 342Nm of torque at 3100 rpm. The interior provides all the amenities that luxury customers have come to expect, with the emphasis on comfort and convenience. All Cadillac models come with a free service and maintenance package for 4 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first), in addition to round the clock roadside assistance and General Motors’ patented bumper-to-bumper warranty. This unsurpassed care package offers Cadillac customers an unparalleled sense of security and total peace of mind, enhancing the overall Cadillac experience.
