Lufthansa offers lower fares to 100 US destinations

Together with its Star Alliance partner United, Lufthansa has put together an attractive and wide-ranging package for all America fans. There are 100 dream destinations to choose from right across the United States – from Boston to Honolulu, from Miami to Portland – and flights are available at extremely reasonable prices. Go Christmas shopping in New York for as little as 369 euros, enjoy powder snow and après-ski in Aspen from 579 euros or go surfing in Ha-waii from 899 euros. Starting in November, flights will be available to Orlando, a new Luf-thansa destination in Florida, the “Sunshine State”, from just 499 euros, while fares to the popular West Coast city of San Francisco start at 599 euros. This special offer brings the most attractive US cities within easy reach. Seasoned travellers to America can also explore new territory, thanks to Lufthansa’s fare promotion. How about a visit to Jackson in the state of Wyoming, the jumping-off point for Yel-lowstone and Grand Teton National Park? Return fares start at 619 euros. Or follow in the footsteps of Elvis in Memphis, Tennessee from 559 euros. Palm Springs in the California De-sert, the perfect place to spend the winter, can be reached for as little as 629 euros. The fare to San Antonio, one of the oldest settlements in Texas renowned for its beautiful old town, starts at 559 euros. The special fares for Lufthansa flights to the 100 US destinations listed are for a return flight in Economy Class from Frankfurt or Munich. Flights can be booked from now until 29 Septem-ber, depending on availability. Tickets are valid between 1 November and 13 December and from 24 December 2007 to 29 February 2008.
