500 global exhibitors confirm participation at first ever China International Petroleum Equipment & Technology Exhibition

The first ever China International Petroleum Equipment & Technology Exhibition (CIPEE) 2008 has been launched during a press conference held today (December 05, 2007) in Dubai; with more than 500 global petroleum equipment manufacturing companies confirming their participation in the event that is poised to become one of the most important exhibitions in the international petroleum industry. Organised with the support of leading international petroleum groups including the Gulf-Arabic International Commerce and Economic Investment Bureau, CIPEE will be held at the Dongying International Trade Centre in Dongying, Shandong Province, China, from September 12-14, 2008. More than 3,000 prospective international buyers are expected to attend the event, which will incorporate indoor and outdoor exhibition space exceeding 29,000 square metres. Among the full range of petroleum equipment to be featured include drilling equipments, production equipments, gas-oil gathering and transferring equipments, oilfield special vehicles, oilfield generating equipments, oilfield special chemicals, petroleum equipment components and special tools, oilfield instruments and meters, oilfield electric apparatus and cables, oilfield labour security products, petroleum development and research products, and oilfield petroleum engineering. CIPEE 2008, which is predicted to gather over 10,000 exhibitors, visitors and dignitaries worldwide, is sponsored by the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade and Shangdong Municipal People’s Government. It is also co-organised by China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, Petrochina Company Limited, China National Offshore Co. LTD, American Petroleum Institute, Institute of Petroleum (UK), African Petroleum Producers’ Association and Russian Lykoil Company.
