Cooperation between Ajman University and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

The College of Dentistry at Ajman University of Science and Technology received a delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, headed by Dr. Patrick Byrne. This visit saw the bringing of cooperation between the two colleges a step closer and the renewal of an agreement of cooperation that was established with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2004 as a training center for the state of their college exams for the Irish fellowship. The visit also included access to the high potential and expertise offered by College of Dentistry at Ajman University.

 

This visit discussed ways of expanding cooperation between the two colleges and preparing for a joint scientific conference to be organized between the college of Dentistry at AUST and the College of Dentistry at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and discussed a specialized postgraduate collaboration with the Royal College.

 

Dr. Salem Abu Fanas, Dean of College of Dentistry at Ajman University of Science and Technology said: “Ajman University of Science and Technology represented by the College of Dentistry welcomes such visits which contribute to the development of capabilities and medical expertise of  its enrolled employees and students through their integration with the international foreign expertise through which we draw all new developments in this medical field”, Dr. Abu Fanas added “Ajman University of Science and Technology is keen to take advantage of international experience as far as possible in all sectors”.
