March 18, 2009
As part of the financial and moral support it provides to the Madrasati initiative, which was launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Jordan Investment Trust PLC (Jordinvest) - one of the leading providers of comprehensive financial and investment services in the domestic and regional markets – sent a team of its employees to visit the Abu Alanda Primary School in the Abu Alanda district.
The visit comes as one of several that Jordinvest regularly organizes with the aim of following up on the different stages of the school's renovation, and to ensure that the school is gaining maximum benefit from the aid that the company is providing in improving its infrastructure through the restoration and maintenance operations that were designed based on its predetermined needs.
The Jordinvest team's visit involved listening to the 4th grade students' feedback on the planned modernization programs, the team's participation in different recreational activities with the children, and the distribution of Cinnabon, a product of the Jana Restaurant Management Corporation, one of the companies owned by Tantash Group, which holds Cinnabon franchisee rights in Jordan.
Mr. Ahmad Tantash, Jordinvest's Chairman and CEO, expressed his pleasure at this visit and said: "I am very glad to see the company's team positively interacting with Abu Alanda Primary School's students. This visit serves as motivation to exert greater efforts in answering the needs of the education sector, in which we place our hopes for building future generations. We at Jordinvest are very interested in the improvement of schools in line with the Madrasati initiative, which we take great pride in being part of."
