Exclusive Focus Day – Bridges Middle East is proud to host the exclusive launch of the Qatar-Bahrain Causeway Project, recognised as the world’s longest marine crossing. This project answers an important part of the mobility challenge for Qatar and Bahrain by providing a surface transportation link between the two diverse and complementary countries and economies. Through an exclusive focus day the QBCF will take you through the planning and implementation of the world’s longest over-water link. This focus day will cover previously unreleased topics and sould not be missed.
Essential site visits - Only at Bridges Middle East will you have the opportunity to participate in two unique site visits. On the final day of the event, participants will taken two boat trips. The first will be facilitated by Nigel Clifford, Project Manager, Sheikh Zayed Bridge, and will move underneath what is thought of as the world’s most complex bridge structure. Following this, Frederic Turlier, Project Manager, Saadiyat Bridge will take you around the Middle East’s largest bridge development. Both trips are a fantastic chance to take strategies learnt in the main conference and understand how they are realised for bridge structures.
