July 05, 2009
Country: UAE
Client(s): Etisalat

Etisalat today honoured 78 winners who participated in the “Network Clarity” campaign that began last April with participants sending their entries through local radio stations. Mr. Khalifa al Shamsi, VP- Marketing, Consumer at Etisalat honoured the winners in a ceremony at the Etisalat Business Centre in Dubai.

The campaign messages were also corroborated through an independent study conducted by Alcatel-Lucent which ranked Etisalat as the best mobile communications provider for achieving the least call drops in the Middle East. The Acatel-Lucent  research compared the call completion ratio, call set-up success ratio (no. of times call gets connected successfully) and the call drop ratio's (the number of times the call disconnects while talking) of the telecom service providers in the Middle East and ranked Etisalat as the best service provider on all three counts.

The winners expressed their happiness on being felicitated by Etisalat, which has stood by its consumers for decades, with the objective of offering the best services and latest technologies,  while maintaining constant communication with consumers, and celebrating worldwide accomplishments.

"Etisalat’s superior network provides the best user experience to our customers who can stay in touch, irrespective of their location. We’re happy to have this opportunity to thank our loyal  customers and we reiterate our commitment to provide the highest service standards backed by a world class network that our customers  can rely on.” said Mr.Khalifa Al Shamsi.
Mr. Ali Al Shamsi, another winner of the contest,  said: “I love nature and spend most of my holidays on the beach  or in the desert observing the beauty of nature. Etisalat has proven its dependability in keeping me connected with the world wherever I am on numerous occasions”.

Miss Muna Fawzi expressed her gratitude to Etisalat and said, ”I consider Etisalat to be a excellent service provider. I depend on it locally and internationally, and it has never let me down regardless of my location.  My participation in the radio contest was not driven by the will to win, but rather to thank Etisalat for its high standards of service.”

Etisalat has built a state-of-the-art telecom infrastructure and acquired a dominant leadership status in innovation and reliability among regional and international operators. Etisalat’s mobile phone service penetration has crossed over 150% in the UAE.
