Company Profile Based in Abu Dhabi and for a highly reputable and leading public services entity a highly efficient, experienced and knowledgeable procurement manager is required. Job Profile This individual is responsible for planning, directing and managing the procurement/purchasing activities of the entity under the direction of the support services Director. The position in general will be to develop, review and approve new or improved purchasing/procurement procedures and strategies. Ensure that the quality, cost and timeliness of products to be purchased are met according to set timescales and contractual terms. The individual must also demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service. Procurement/purchasing methods and procedures including buying, quality assurance, contract administration and contract law Ensure the development of Purchasing/Procurement policies and procedures Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the most favorable terms of business for the organization Assist with sourcing of goods, products and suppliers globally Awareness of laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and other requirements governing the purchase of goods and services Safeguard all contracts for the supply of goods and services, ensure that those contracts are being carried-out effectively and renegotiate when necessary Manage the relationship with suppliers and ensure timely payment of invoices Keep informed on industry technology and purchasing practices Office Management principles, practices and procedures The position will report directly to the Support Services Director and will manage a team of dedicated and committed procurement professionals.

Job Skills :
Skills Graduate of Business Administration, Management or Marketing Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing and procurement Arabic mother tongue and fluent in English Has a very strong personality and leadership skills Proficient in the use of: MS-Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Outlook Express.
