Main Tasks & Responsibilities
The job is to become our own internal PR, to promote the brand as a source of Real Estate information in the markets we operate in. It is also to give a different edge on how our articles and products are received in the market and to increase awareness and exposure of our products in the market. Cityscape should be seen as an information hub for the media, we should be a regular commentator, initiator and source for the media.
Job Purpose:
•To develop and maintain a database of press and other media contacts for both local and international media (including Arabic media)
•To translate the PR’s Manager press releases to Arabic
•To act as the point of contact for the Arabic press
•To assist & distribute regular press releases and/or features relating to the portfolio of products.
•To invite media to events (Connect, Awards, Cocktail parties) and manage press activities on site
•To research opportunities for increased press coverage in different media (print, online, radio, TV) above and beyond current press contacts
•Identify and work with key professionals/institutions and companies to produce these articles
•To assist in producing the group e-newsletter and associated online content, including editorial / moderator duties within online communities / social media
•To assist the PR Manager in implementing regional and international exposure of Cityscape products through interviews with IIR staff, companies and conference speakers.
•To organize interviews onsite at events for CI and promotional videos for the editor

•A comprehensive database of regional and international media contacts
•On time and efficient articles as per the event drop schedules
•Column inches in external magazines and newspapers
•Increase of traffic, readers, click-through rates of the relevant products
•Increase exposure of Cityscape products
•Increase exposure on Social Media Networks
•Increased number of press attending events
•Increased number of pre- and post-show reports in third party media
•Increased number of online articles
Job Skills :
Background Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic
•Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

•Be able to work alone and under pressure when needed to

•Trained PR person
•Real Estate background
Minimum Education level required:
•Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant subject
Work Experience
Essential:
•Proven track record working in a PR environment, ideally on exhibitions
•Previous experience of dead-line critical role

•Related industry/event knowledge
•Experience of the Real Estate market
