Duties include:
?Articulating and maintaining ‘best of practice’ in transmission control operational functions
?Reducing number of controllable On Air disruptions
?Improving resolution time for fixing on air disruptions
?Improve TC resources utilization and availability
?Ensuring that transmission control department articulates, communicates and delivers against its service level requirements
?Managing human resources within the department according to Group’s policy. (HR Scorecard results ‘On target’)
?Ensuring that all activities within department are in accordance with Group Policies
?Developing and implement procedures to improve productivity
?Conducting periodic staff performance assessment and evaluation
Job Skills :
Strong knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems
?
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of transmission experience in a managerial/senior capacity
?
Fluent in English (Arabic an added advantage)
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
?Experienced in Transmission Control Technologies
