Description :
The main responsibilities for this position involve generating new business across Marine, General Freight Forwarding, Packing and Removals, Loss Adjusters Government Services, Warehousing and Distribution with a view to improve market share and achieve set targets and oversee the commercial aspects of the business. I. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Sales and Business Development. Identify new business clients, negotiate competitive terms, and secure agreements with potential clients in order to further revenue generation and increase productivity in all the above streams. Devise strategies and system designs for focused efforts and allocate resources appropriately, leading to increased revenues and profitability. He should identify new opportunities in the market and strategically develop them to enhance stream profitability within Iraq as main area of responsibility. 2. . Network Partner Relationship Management.. Maintain a close relationship with overseas partners. 3. . Business Process Development. . Conducting periodical visit to our internal processes, identifying gaps and aligning them to customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. 4. . Brand Awareness.: Creating brand awareness within residential community and corporates through advertising through various mediums. The jobholder is likewise expected to map customer satisfaction periodically 5. . To act as a trusted advisor to ISS. :To take care of commercial aspects of business viz., Risk Analysis, Payment Terms, Debtors, Credit limits. 6. . Cost Control. . Reviewing and controlling the various costs of doing business that involves short-run and long-run planning for optimal revenue generation. Job Holder must negotiating rates with shipping lines and overseas partners, develop ocean/air freight products from key areas and ensure that the sales teams sell these products effectively. The incumbent will make suggestions/recommendations that could enhance or streamline operations, 7. . Liaison with Government bodies.: Maintain close liaison with Government / statutory bodies in order to ease the business process. Must have good contacts with Government bodies so as to enable participation in Government tenders.

Job Skills :
Iraqi National Degree from a reputable university preferably Minimum of 3 to 5 years of marine /shipping related industry experience preferred. Knowledge of the local market, competitors, product knowledge. Valid Iraq Driving license. Working knowledge of MS office. Willing to travel extensively within Iraq Must be able to correspond in English and through emails. Good contacts with Government and other statutory ministries
