Founded in 1986, our Client is an established food logistics, marine and facilities provider and part of a much larger group. They operate throughout the Middle East operating both in the commercial sector as well as in the military and defence sector. They specialize in the supply of deck, engine and provision stores to vessels calling at UAE ports as well as all ports of Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Djibouti and Oman. They also provide workable resolutions to complex client requirements in the areas of food logistics, catering, passenger and cruise shipping, offshore oil and gas sector, specialist marine catering, fishing, seismic and offshore supply vessels and FPSO conversions. They are currently seeking an Arabic speaking Sales and Marketing Manager to be based in Dubai. The successful candidate will report into the General Manager – Military Supply Division and will be responsible for the selling and marketing of our clients range of FM services. The initial focus will be on catering organisations based in the UAE. Initially an independent sales and marketing role with project management responsibilities, however the role calls for good leadership skills as the job holder will eventually manage a small team. You will be required to interface with our clients sub contractors to deliver client requirements pertaining to medical facilities, vehicle and equipment hire, transport, catering, procurement and facilities management, all within a military environment. In addition you will analyse the costing of expenditure and income and will revise estimates and income according to various scenarios. You will assist in the preparing of assigned proposals/bids from receipt of the Request for Proposal/Invitation for Bid (RFP/IFB) to timely delivery of the proposal/bid to the customer and until the customer has made an award decision (contract) to include any post-award kickoff conference. You will negotiate with our clients partners and sub contractors and will be travel between our clients sites within the Middle East and the Head Office base in Dubai.

Job Skills :
Of graduate calibre, the ideal candidate will be Arabic speaking accomplished Sales / Business Development / Marketing Manager and will have a proven track record in logistics, contract catering or facilities management sectors ideally in a military and defence environment. A military background would be very useful. Your practical experience should be supported by a Degree in either logistics and supply chain, finance or business administration. To be successful in this role, you require previous experience in proposals and bids administration ideally with major defence contractors / United Nations and / or experience with complex / high dollar value international contracts. You will have excellent business analytical skills and have the ability to understand the technical and operational aspects of multi-modal transport and camp services. You must be able to multi-task routine and complex contract activities with the ability to overview situations, review a Supported by excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills you will able to display solid strategic thinking, data manipulation and financial analytical skills. . You will be able to show that you fully understand the importance of the relationship between sales success and quality of service delivery. You will be energetic, highly motivated, results oriented and capable of working in a team. Capable of independent thought and possess excellent planning and organisation skills able to work to tight deadlines, you should be fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English and have a strong attention to detail.
