Inbound
Part of the Logistics team, responsible for planning and executing the receipt of products from suppliers and offloading the products in to the inbound staging area.
1.Plan all goods receipt activities in order to efficiently receive products on the scheduled date.
2.Ensure the availability of the needed resources at time of product receiving (manpower, equipment, etc.)
3.Unload, segregate and quality inspect goods.
4.Check received items as stated by Freight Management team against packing list.
5.Prepare the necessary documentation required for defective and/or damaged products.
6.Coordinate with Warehouse teams to transfer items from inbound area to respective bins.
7.Execute the product returns to supplier process, if needed.
8.Ensure following of safety procedures.
Outbound
Part of the logistics team, responsible for serving the Customer with the best quality and at the minimum time through coordinating and executing all company deliveries by consolidating, packaging, loading and transporting products.
1.Plan the weekly transportation schedule and create outbound deliveries on system according to confirmed dates.
2.Arrange and schedule a suitable transportation plan achieving the optimum utilization of available resources.
3.Call customers one day prior to delivery in order to confirm delivery date and address.
4.Check deliveries and arrange vehicle and driver availabilities.
5.Ensure the safe and secure loading of the products to a vehicle.
6.Follow up the execution process of delivery and acquire full customer satisfaction.
7.Execute the product return process from Customers via ABYAT’s vehicles.
8.Ensure following of safety procedures.
Job Skills :
High school graduation Minimum. Preferably a Bachelors degree in Materials Management or a related subject.
More than 3 years experience in a similar role
1.Planning and time management skills.
2.Knowledge of warehouse equipments and transportation instruments
3.Basic analytic and problem solving skills
4.Basic computer skills.
5.Fluent in English and Arabic.
