Description :
The selected person will be a key member of our Transaction Advisory Services team with responsibility to Lead Advisory engagements relating to mergers & acquisitions, financial restructuring, privatization, pricing strategy etc. The selected person will also play an important role in new business development including marketing, proposal preparation and follow up. He/She will also be expected to play an active role in the professional development of junior professional staff. • Prior experience of leading / managing project-teams as well as experience in business development and client relationship management will be crucial • Be involved in preparing proposals to prospective clients • Understanding the key business drivers, identifying key issues and risks / conclusions and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice • Actively participate at meetings with clients and other advisers throughout the transaction process • Take responsibility for own learning and development, provide coaching to others, and participate in upward feedback • Understand and manage the transaction risks from the client's and firm's perspective • Share your technical and other knowledge with your team and the department.

Job Skills :
The firm is seeking experienced and ambitious corporate finance professionals with the following profile: - • A relevant first level university degree or an MBA • A professional certification preferably a CA, CFA, CMA, CIMA, CFM, CPA, CVA, AVA • 3 to 7 years relevant work experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (across the deal cycle) and proven track record with reputed consulting firms, large business groups, investment banks and other financial services institutions • Very good analytical and finance and transaction structuring skills. Should have worked on a couple of deals before with experience in writing IMs • Preference will be given to exceptional people with proven track record of carrying out Mergers & Acquisitions projects & assignments • Excellent command over both Arabic and English is a must • Experience with one of the Big4 would be a plus. Additional skills requirements • Excellent Analytical, interpersonal and Problem solving skills. • Demonstrate broad commercial and business acumen • Strong report writing skills/reviewing skills • Strong presentation skills & project management skills • Previous experience in working with multicultural teams • Effective time management skills, able to keep calm when under pressure to meet deadlines • Previous experience in the consulting arena and in one or more of the above technical competencies • Coaching and counseling skills • Team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels • Effective written and verbal communication • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
