DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving of RFI from the contractor. Check the RFI against the latest issued IFC drawings. Check whether shop drawings are approved or not prior to start of the work. Check the work of the contractor done as per the latest revision of issued for construction drawings. Check the survey report for all the works in compliance with the approved shop / IFC drawings and specifications. Check the survey report to ensure that the survey is done as per the approved shop drawings, IFC drawings and approved TQS as per the site condition. Visual inspection of all work being carried out, day today monitoring of the site works in compliance with the specifications and IFC drawings. Checking of the progress of the works submitted by the contractor every month for IPC bill purposes. Preparation of weekly progress report. Updating the weekly progress drawings. Preparation of progress reports for client and photographs of ongoing activities on site. Review the survey reports, test results of works and forwarded to Resident Engineer for his final approval. Drafting of letters to address the issues to contractor and client. Answering of technical queries and solving technical problems. Preparation of daily progress report. Preparation of snag list with all the parties at the time of final handing over. Follow-up with the contractor for outstanding and pending issues with contractor. Supervising the Site Inspectors and reviewing the Inspectors RFIs after inspecting in compliance with the specifications and IFC drawings.

Job Skills :
Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 7 years site experience preferably on major wastewater projects in the Gulf region. Supervision of pipeline and house connection work. Familiar with QA/QC procedures. Understanding of the importance of HSE. Candidate with Gulf experience and having valid GCC driving license would be a benefit. Must be proficient in English both written and oral.
