Description :
-Prepare (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) and contracts -Liaise with business units to ensure right scoping, timing, cost points -Benchmark existing contracts costs to the marketplace (market to market). -Research and interpret contract provisions including communicating contract processes, penalties, and compliance terms to users. -Manage renewals, extensions and formal changes to the contract including amending, changing, deleting terms and provisions. -Participate in evaluating, selecting and managing suppliers as well as classifing and keeping their records to monitor their performance -Create and manage supplier management repository (e.g. contracts, minutes, issue logs, etc.) -Assist in resolution of contract-related disputes -Negotiate / discuss and finalize SLAs with vendors -Maintain vendor management guidelines and procedures

Job Skills :
- 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in a purchasing and contracting organization, preferably in a government agency - Understanding of Abu Dhabi’s contract law and proven paralegal purchasing expertise - Existing network / relationships with suppliers in the area of Abu Dhabi and abroad - Fluent and literate in Arabic and very good English language skills (spoken and written) - Knowledge of operational characteristics, services and activities of a purchasing and contracts organization as well as advanced principles of purchasing, contracts, quality assurance and supply chain management - Basic principles and procedures of financial record keeping and reporting - Principles and techniques of supervision, training and performance evaluation - Good Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to build effective working relationships with vendors
