Role Summary/Purpose
The Algeria Region Sales Manager plays a key role within Oil & Gas Global Services and will lead GE Global Services Sales in Algeria, develop and execute the growth strategy for the region.
Essential Responsibilities
The Region Manager will need to demonstrate the ability to work at senior level both internally and externally, to leverage leadership, influence skills and expertise to gain the respect of the Business Units very quickly.
You will report directly to the Global Services Sales GM and manage a team of direct Account and Technical Sales Managers. You will demonstrate leadership in managing the regional sales team and coordinating all front line activities.
You will be responsible for the after-market, accountable for over $200m in orders, with double digit growth expectations- growing market share, support and represent the whole Oil & Gas services product portfolio. You will support and represent the whole Oil & Gas services product portfolio.
Knowledge and experience in the Oil & Gas sector is fundamental as well as a strong entrepreneurial attitude.
You will also be responsible for:
ï?½Define and implement Oil & Gas marketing and commercial strategies in order to increase orders volume and profitability
ï?½Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources to maximize market penetration
ï?½Establish a systematic business scouting plan with the purpose of identifying new market opportunities
ï?½Coordinate sales activities ensuring the development of brand awareness in the market
ï?½Ensure Customer Centricity in the team
ï?½Establish strong relationship key customers by understanding their needs and get credibility in proposing solutions to their problems in an accurate and timely fashion
ï?½Report financial objectives and results and market trends to the Sales General Manager and business leadership team

Qualifications/Requirements
ï?½In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas Market and Customers
ï?½Promote lead generation and sales of entire Oil & Gas product portfolio
ï?½BS Degree
ï?½At least 10 years industry experience in sales functions including international work experience.
ï?½At least 5 years demonstrated experience in leading and energizing teams to develop and execute commercial growth plans in a matrix environment
ï?½French and Arabic knowledge
