Aramex Sponsors 50 Employees in the Run Against Cancer

As part of its commitment to social development and promoting a healthier lifestyle, Aramex sponsored 50 of its employees to participate in the Run Against Cancer on behalf of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF). The Run Against Cancer took place during the first Amman International Marathon on the 17th of October 2009, where a part of each participant's fee was donated to the Foundation on behalf of all participants running in the name of KHCF.

"Aramex has always been an active advocator of sporting initiatives that promote public health awareness, which is reflected in our participation in events such as the Run Against Cancer marathon," said Mr. Hussam Baraquoni, Aramex's Regional CEO. "Our support of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation corresponds to our strong belief in the importance of Foundation's objectives and garnering support for the KHCF. We hope to contribute in supporting the fight against cancer in order to instigate a positive change within the local community."
