All the messengers were sent by God with the same message "Islam". Moses was not sent with one message by God "Judaism" and God changes his mind and sends Jesus with "Christianity" and then finally decided to send Prophet Mohammed with "Islam".

Islam was the "message" that all the "messengers" were sent with. Call people to submit to the will of God, to the laws of God, to worship him Alone, to establish Prayer, to pay the poor rate, to enjoin the good and forbid the evil. This is Islam (Submission to God's will) and it is the religion of all the Prophets and was the way of life of Adam.

Whenever mankind deviated from Islam and started worshiping false gods (Idols, animals, men) God sent prophets calling them away from such foolishness and evil and back to the religion and way of life of their father Adam.

So according to you Islam is 1430 years old. But according to us the Muslims... Islam is as old as mankind.

The Quran says that God said "Verily I will place on Earth a Khalifa (successors)" to which the angels replied "Will you place on earth those will spread corruption and shed blood"

The angels knew that men would spread corrputionand shed blood not because the knew the future but because they saw what the Jinn and other created beings that previously inhabited Earth did and not because they had knowledge of the future.

Allah (STW) also said I was place on earth a Khalifa (successors). Meaning those who will succeed the ones who previously inhabited Earth.

Unlike Christianity we do not believe that Earth was created for manking. Our text (Quran and Hadith) acknowledge that the Earth was in existence long before man was placed on it. We acknowledged this fact while Europe was in the dark ages and people would bath once a month (as documented in history).

Oh.. really? Somebody now knows what makes God Happy or Sad?

They are forgetting one thing... God Made Man and in turn Man Made Religion....

The Earth is Millions of Years old.. Man is more recent... Just thousands of years... Religion? even more recent... Hinduism 4000 years ... Chirstananity 2000 years and Islam 1430... So there... In about 1400 years, people have started to know the pursuit of Happines of God!

So the accusation said that the programme doesn't "make God happy". Did they hear it from the Almighty himself? If so I would like that phone number please.

Seriously, if something displeases the Almighty Power that Created the Universe, He can destroy and delete those who did it. If that doesn't happen, then let it be as it is not Allah's will; those who claim to know best and play God are committing the biggest blasphemy of all.

I can't blame people who will definitely lampoon the system in KSA that allows bizarre issues to crop up.

But there is a second side to the story that most of us acknowledge when it suits us. The ground reality is that TV stations the world over are known for doing the unexpected and for provocative and controversial stories to generate higher TRP.

They are aware of the law and the consequences but they choose to do it because it is the messenger who gets into trouble, the chief decision maker is sitting somewhere in Europe sipping whatever he/she can sip.

When Ms Jackson had a wardrobe malfunction, the channel was fined according to the existing law. Whether KSA's blasphemy law is justified or not is separate debate; but the fact remains that there was a law in place before the violation, and the violator will be fined accordingly.

"I didn't know!" is not accepted as an excuse under any law anywhere in the world.

Must be terrible working at a TV network in Saudi at the moment.

You never quite know when someone is going to say something that will get you lashed, imprisoned or deported.

The authorities need to be careful that they do not create a climate where fear rules... I think the King was absolutely right in his ruling pardoning the exec on LBC yesterday. The courts need to listen.
