Technogym, well renowned for its state of the art wellness design equipment will inaugurate its showroom officially on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2009, prior to its soft opening in May 2009. The showroom is located in the heart of Zabeel Road, Dubai. Technogym becomes the first international top player in the fitness and wellness industry to set a branch in the Emirates to be closer and offer better support to both business and private customers.
On the day, the opening will be hosted by Mr. Nerio Alessandri, The Chief Designer and Founder of Technogym who will arrive from Technogym’s Headquarters in Cesena, Italy. Christian Dietrich, Managing Director, Technogym Emirates, has moved to Dubai with a matured strong experience on the industry and will manage the showroom, heading the activities in the UAE.

At the opening, Technogym will introduce and unveil the new Run Personal, a revolutionary product with a sleek design by the Italian architect and industrial designer Antonio Citterio with Toan Nguyen who also fashioned the Kinesis Personal. The Run Personal is a measured blend of wellness and design, to create a new offer in both the wellness and the design market. The silhouette is strongly innovative and the use of precious and sophisticated material, never used before for exercise equipment, makes Run Personal a beautiful piece of design even when still. Run Personal design is constructed with “soft touch” materials, like glass and aluminium. The machine’s interactive features include a 19” TV screen IPhone/IPod connection, a USB port, Games to train your mind while you are training your body and a Plug & Train facility to keep exercises on track.

The size of the Technogym Emirates showroom is approximately 110 square metres and houses an exquisite Home collection such as the Kinesis Personal Vision, the new Kinesis leather, Unica, Spazio Forma and wellness tools. In the commercial range, the showroom displays Vario, Visio and Flexability. Technogym guarantees delivery of its orders in a weeks time with a 2 year warranty for home gym equipment.
