IIR Middle East announces dates for Brand Summit 2009

November 01, 2009
Country: UAE
Client(s): IIR Middle East

IIR Middle East, a regional leader in facilitating skill development through professional conferences, announces the production of Brand Summit 2009 to be held in Dubai, UAE, from November 8-12 at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel.  In association with Dubai Media City, “Staying Alive” is the slogan for this year’s Brand Summit 2009.

Now in its seventh year and with 156 industry participants last year, the annual event is the most powerful platform for the industry to reveal new insights, discuss collective challenges, and clarify standards across the global branding community.  All of these topics will be covered in depth by carefully selected panels consisting of representatives from some of the world’s most respected multi-national companies.

“There is so much purchasing power in the GCC market, we want to create an environment for companies to grow their brands on the regional and international stage,” comments Mr. Kosta Petrov, Conference Director for IIR Middle East. “Although GCC companies have made significant strides in the past several years, the market as a whole has yet to reach its full potential.  This event is a great chance for both national and international companies to learn from each other, developing strategies to increase local penetration and expand into global markets.”

This year’s Brand Summit is the result of extensive research with leading international experts and publications.  All topics and discussions have been chosen in collaboration with conference partners and participants, highlighting only the most contemporary of industry challenges and trends.  In addition to executive-led discussions, this year’s Brand Summit will also organize one-on-one meetings between branding experts, and will offer half-day intensive clinics conducted by renowned industry leaders.

Brand Summit 2008 saw a wide array of speakers from some of the world's brand giants such as Microsoft, Coca Cola, HP, Vodafone, HSBC, Yahoo!, eBay, Sony Ericsson, and Harley Davidson and  O2 Branding.
