Asiacell Launches Its New Youth Line

As part of its dedication to offering innovative and unprecedented prepaid services that answer the needs of different social segments, Asiacell – the largest private Iraqi company and the first and only mobile telecommunications company to provide coverage for all of Iraq – launched its new Youth Line SIM card offer, which is the first prepaid offer specifically directed at youth and students in Iraq. The new Youth Line enables young Asiacell prepaid subscribers to make on-net calls and send SMS and MMS messages at highly competitive rates.
 
The price for the new Youth Line is USD 10, and comes with a USD 1 in free credit. The line's monthly subscription rate is USD 1, and Youth Line subscribers will be able to send up to 100 on-net SMS messages for free. On-net calls made between the hours of 12:00 midnight to 8:59am cost 1 cent/min, whilst call forwarding charges, international calls and off-net calls are all billed at the same rate as normal prepaid lines. On-net SMS messages sent between 12:00 midnight and 8:59am cost 1 cent/SMS only once the bonus 100 free SMSs are spent.

The new Youth Line also offers an 80% discount on GPRS between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:59am, where 20 cents/MB will be charged. GPRS between the peak hours of 9:00am till 11:59pm costs USD 1/MB.
