The official website of QTA is an ideal web destination for answering all questions about Qatar and will become a useful resource for everyone: from a local resident searching for a cultural event or the latest restaurant to an interested traveler exploring how they can enjoy an additional 48 hours in Qatar.

The five most important pillars for tourism in Qatar are structuring the website:  Meetings, Culture, Education, Sports and Leisure.  Through these pillars, Qatar Tourism Authority is promoting Qatar’s authentic heritage and rich past while highlighting its focus on building for the future through creativity and innovation.

The convenient navigation will allow visitors to easily find up to date information on all local events, including exhibitions and conventions, sporting events and cultural events through either a day-by-day or monthly calendar.  The “Plan your Trip” section includes important information that will assist travelers in planning their trip to Qatar, from choosing an airline to booking a hotel or selecting a restaurant for a nice evening out as well as highlighting essential travel information about the local customs and how to get around.

Qatar is recognized as a leading destination in the Gulf region for meetings, exhibitions and conferences.  Those visitors from the MICE industry will easily find information on the state-of-the art exhibition facilities, luxury hotels and leisure activities in Qatar as well as progress updates on the new exhibition and conference centers currently under construction.

In addition to the events calendars and practical travel information, visitors to the website will also find a wealth of information about Qatar:  its history, landscape and culture as well as its progressive developments in areas of construction, education and sport. The latest developments at Lusail, Education City and the new convention and exhibition centers can all be found here.
