Saks Fifth Avenue will host its first ever ‘winter wonderland’ event in partnership with CRYSTALLIZEDTM - Swarovski Elements with a magical unveiling set to illuminate the entire store in crystals for the season. This special shopping experience will bring the magic of the holiday season right to the heart of Burjuman for all Saks Fifth Avenue customers to enjoy, and is set to delight adults and children alike.
To celebrate the unveiling of this spectacular event and exciting partnership, key spokespeople from both Saks Fifth Avenue and Swarovski Middle East will come together to turn on the lights at 7.00 p.m. Prior to the unveiling, guests will be entertained by a glittering array of magical dance and musical performances, and enjoy refreshments and canapés all in the spirit of the festive holiday season. Additionally, Saks Fifth Avenue shoppers will be able to take pleasure in the unique and exciting in-store performances every weekend until the New Year.

Exclusively for the holiday season, fashion icons Carolina Herrera, Kaufman Franco, Michael Kors, Missoni, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass and Giambattista Valli have designed one-of-a-kind pieces adorned with CRYSTALLIZED ™ - Swarovski Elements to be exhibited throughout the store. The specially commissioned gowns took over twelve weeks to create and reflect over five-hundred hours of hand embroidery with over a thousand types of crystals.
In addition to these exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces, renowned couture designer, Zuhair Murad, has created three unique showpieces which will be available for special order, and prestigious local abaya designer, Kanzi, has fashioned two show stopping pieces both of which will be displayed within the store and readily available for order. Saks customers will also be able to enjoy designs from Naeem Khan and Catherine Malandrino. However, the main attraction for this already impressive line-up will be the showcasing of two wedding dresses designed by the world celebrated fashion designers Reem Acra and Vera Wang for the CRYSTALLIZED™ Wedding initiative.
Adding further excitement for young shoppers, Saks Fifth Avenue will launch a very special, limited-edition, hardcover children’s book: Twinkle Twinkle Little Flake. Published exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue by HarpersCollins Publishers, the book has been brilliantly written by Emmy® Award-winner and former writer for The Simpsons, Mike Reiss, and masterfully illustrated by Roger Chouinard. Twinkle Twinkle Little Flake tells the story of a snowflake named Twinkle who embarks on an adventure in New York City once she has fallen from her cloud.
