This appointment comes after an election process involving many representatives of global leaders in the water desalination industry and is a result of Metito’s numerous contributions to the desalination sector.
“This is appointment is proof of our leadership position in the market as desalination experts,” comments Fady. “Metito has been a strong leader in the desalination sector for many years, having built many desalination plants all around the world. In addition to its strong market position, Metito has been member of the IDA and an active supporter of its activities and initiatives.”
Patricia Burke, secretary general of the IDA comments “Metito has been among the top 5 global desalination companies for many years now and have contributed endlessly to this sector of the market. With over xxx desalination plants around the world and Metito’s constant support to the desalination community, it came as no surprise that Fady Juez would be elected. “
Fady is also the head of the organizing committee for the IDA’s water congress, which takes place in Dubai from the 7th-12th of November. The Water Congress is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the Ruler of Dubai, and will bring together delegates from the global Water Desalination industry to address environmental and energy impacts of desalination on the global stage by exploring the challenges, trends and advances in the industry.
“The Water Congress is a great opportunity to put both Dubai and Metito on the global map of desalination, and it’s a great opportunity to share with the world our vision of a better sustainable future with better and more efficient desalination technologies.” Fady added.
