Global Hyatt Corporation has introduced a one-of-a-kind guest concept known as ‘Residential Spa’ which incorporates spa and business facilities in selected rooms worldwide, affording the hotel giant’s international clientele a more relaxing experience.
Global Hyatt has announced plans to feature purpose-built spa rooms offering a full range of treatments in all new Park Hyatt and select Grand Hyatt properties for guests to indulge in total peace and relaxation.
Globally, Hyatt’s spa rooms are currently enjoying a 70% occupancy rate.
Hyatt’s ‘Residential Spa’ offering is designed to offer its guests wellness and comfort with added amenities such as wet and dry in-room treatments, luxurious oversized soaking bathtubs, and steam showers.
“It’s a new way of thinking. Hyatt’s design is to create a warm, cozy, culturally appropriate approach to the spa experience in an environment that is comfortable and residential for our guests,” said Gordon Tareta, Director of Spa Operations for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
Each property presents wellness-dedicated accomodation that focuses on every single detail to perfect the peaceful environment for every Hyatt guest.
“Our approach to spas is zero-based. We start from scratch with each location. We consider the local setting: amount of sunshine, local altitude, and other climate factors. We plan our services accordingly, creating an experience that is organically linked with the traditions of the destination,“ added Tareta.
Hyatt’s ‘Residential Spa’ concept has recently been implemented in The Barai, which is the brand new Hyatt Regency hotel in Hua Hin, Thailand following great success from other Hyatt Residential Spa destinations including: Plateau in Hong Kong, i.sawan at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, and Amara at Park Hyatt Dubai.
The ‘Residential Spa’ concept has proved to be a great success with Hyatt guests based on the high occupancy rate and awards received from distinguished publications around the world including Luxury Spa Finder, UK Daily Telegraph, South China Morning Post, and many more.
HyattPure, the company’s global spa portfolio, operates 80 spas that embrace the local culture of the spa’s location (www.hyattpure.com). Hyatt’s spa experts meticulously research and experiment with therapies found around the world to ensure their guests receive the most luxurious and comfortable experience while on the road.
