In preparation for the fast approaching new season, coaches from Manchester United Soccer Schools Dubai (MUSS) - operated in partnership with Dubai Sports City - have been busy visiting local schools to give the pupils a taste of how to play the United Way.
One of the schools to benefit from this community initiative and receive a coaching session using innovative MUSS equipment was Horizon School, Jumeirah.
Andy Dixon, Head Coach, MUSS, Dubai said “The response of the pupils was outstanding. They played in the true spirit of Manchester United Soccer Schools by showing a terrific attitude and desire to learn regardless of their previous experience or ability.”
Jayne Myers, Physical Education Coordinator, Horizon School said, “The visit has been a rewarding experience for both the school and the children. It was fantastic for the children to have such a unique opportunity to experience at first hand, the coaching and philosophy of Manchester United Soccer Schools.”
The third season of the 20 week football coaching programme, presented by Nestle Milo and with the support of partners Pepsi and SNTTA, is open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 7 to 18 and will take place at Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS), Arabian Ranches, starting on November 3rd this year.
