Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in Internet content security, is predicting higher product sales in the Middle East after announcing Abu Dhabi-based systems integrator, Mideast Data Systems, has joined the Trend Micro Affinity programme at the highest level, highlighting the strategic commitment of both companies.

The Affinity Program offers Trend Micro partners tailored, high quality services in marketing, sales and support. The program is designed to enhance Trend Micro’s relationships with its channel partners to enable them to deliver the best services to their customers.

Justin Doo, Managing Director Southern Emerging Markets EMEA said: “We have worked successfully with MDS for four years – they are a key channel partner in Abu Dhabi, and we are delighted to announce them as our first ‘AffinityOne Partner’ in the capital. MDS have a reputation for building strong relationships with their customers, and we look forward to working with them to extend our reach into key UAE vertical markets.”

“Our technical teams have been working closely with MDS for over a year to provide appropriate solutions to the changing demands in the security market, and to take part in the knowledge exchange with end users and customers,” he added.

Mideast Data Systems (MDS) was chosen as Trend Micro’s first ‘AffinityOne Partner’ in Abu Dhabi because of the company’s sales and technical commitment to Trend Micro and its customers.

A subsidiary of MDS Holdings, one of the leading information technology groups of companies in the UAE and the Middle East, Mideast Data Systems specialises in enterprise software solutions, system integration for small to medium-sized businesses, and after-sales support provided through MDS Help Desks and call centres.

“Our partnership with Trend Micro provides us with the world-class technology we require to maintain and expand our services, and enhances our position to continue providing the UAE IT sector with the best internet security solutions and services,” said Roger Kakhia, Managing Partner - MDS Computers.
