The German insurance group Allianz is in advanced talks to buy Turkish insurer Yapi Kredi Emeklilik from Koc Holding, a press report said Wednesday.<br/><br/>"Allianz is on the short list in the sale process for the insurer," Koc's chief executive Buelent Bulgurlu told the Financial Times Deutschland newspaper in an interview.<br/><br/>Analysts estimate the value of Yapi Kredi Emeklilik at 1.2 billion euros (1.9 billion dollars), the report said. The insurer has a market share of about seven percent in life insurance and almost 16 percent in pension insurance, it added.<br/><br/>Allianz declined to comment on the matter, the newspaper said.<br/><br/>Allianz recently bought stakes worth nearly 400 million euros from Koc in two other Turkish insurance companies that they own together.<br/><br/>
