Tripp Lite aims to leverage USD 400 million Indian UPS market

 Tripp Lite, a world leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, has announced its aims to leverage the growing demand for branded UPS products within the USD 400 million Indian UPS market, which is currently witnessing 22 per cent compound annual growth rate, according to IDC. As part of its regional strategy to reinforce its commitment to the country’s power protection market, the company has recently appointed Mohan Ramaratnam as Country Manager for India. Ramaratnam’s task is to implement strategic plans to strengthen the company's position as a leader in power protection equipment in the rapidly growing Asian economy.


 


In addition to the appointment of its new country head, Tripp Lite is currently working with its distribution partner ‘Rajdeep Energies P Ltd’, a Hyderabad based wholesaler, in order to strengthen ‘Tripp Lite Executive Partners’ (TEP), which comprises of more than 36 appointed channel partners that are spread across Pan-India.
