Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority organised a workshop for representatives of the Sharjah Government departments and authorities, with the aim of increasing awareness of the components and elements of Sharjah’s new brand identity. The workshop also presented an opportunity to discuss ways in which the SCTDA and the various government departments and authorities might cooperate in the implementation of the objectives of this new identity, for effective promotion of the emirate of Sharjah and all its economic sectors, in accordance with the Executive Council’s recommendations in this regard.
Attended by a large group of government representatives, the workshop included a detailed explanation of the elements of Sharjah’s new brand identity.
As a part of its strategy, which entails promoting the unique features that make the emirate an ideal tourist destination, thus further enhancing the emirate’s position on the global tourism map, the SCTDA has launched this initiative in cooperation with Landor Associates, one of the world's leading strategic brand and design consultancies.
