Presentation Skills

In a recent survey of things that most people fear, public speaking was voted no.1 (death was 7th). To be a successful manager we must be able to communicate, sometimes with large numbers of people, and to win them around to our position. We must then be able to defend that point of view without appearing nervous or defensive. Our body language, voice, gestures and visual aids should all contribute towards that message. By the end of the course, participants will be able: - To understand why we make bad presentations. - To analyse our own performance. - To use those nerves positively. - To make hands and posture part of the delivery. - To use eye contact to involve and judge. - To know when and how to use humour.
