Environmental risk assessment and management (ERAM) is a tool that is increasingly being used by many organizations to identify their risk exposures as part of corporate-wide risk assessment and management programs. ERAM also supports environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management programs, while it may also be used as a tool to identify aspects in line with ISO 14001 requirements.
The curriculum of this course goes beyond the extent of most similar training programs, since both environmental risk management (ERM) and the latest thinking regarding corporate-wide risk assessment are addressed in the course. The primary focus of this course is to equip environmental practitioners and managers with the necessary skills to conduct environmental risk assessments and to generate risk management plans.
