Our client, a multinational conferencing business that has been organising events in the region for over a decade, is looking to recruit a Project Manager, for the launch of an international construction event. Based in Dubai, and reporting to the Conferencing Manager in the United Kingdom, the event you will be launching will take place in December 2007 in Abu Dhabi. Your responsibilities will be to build the event into an annual high profile summit for the global construction industry. The centre piece of the event will be a two day conference focusing on the key themes and issues relating to the needs of the global construction industry. The conference will then be completed by an exhibition. The role will involve full integration of programme content, marketing campaign, sponsorship sales and logistics delivery. You will have full profit and loss responsibility for the event with a delegate and sponsorship revenue of at least 3.5m AED.
