Fund Administration Officer (17619)
Our client, fast growing investment management company with offices in Bahrain and London is seeking a Fund Administration Officer to join their team in Bahrain. The role is that of a Fund Administration Officer, working in a team of approximately 4 professional accounting staff, and led by an experienced Head of Fund Administration. Your responsibilities would include: To produce and deliver an accurate daily NAV for your allocated funds, ensuring consistency and meeting tight deadlines; Ensure production of weekly / monthly Fund valuation packs; To produce and review weekly / monthly Fund performance; Perform reconciliation of cash, trades and open position with custodian's and administrator's statements, and resolution of breaks; Review and validate Net Asset Values calculated by external fund administrators; Review and analyze income / expenses and borrowings of the Fund; Contribute to the periodical investor reporting and annual financial reporting audit process. Teamwork responsibilities include relief cover, continuous process improvement, supporting the identification of cost reductions, increased quality of service and productivity initiatives. Relationship management responsibilities include developing productive relationships with Fund Managers, Custodians and 3rd parties, as well as internally with other departments (Investment, Client Service and Relationship Management Department). You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to Policies and Procedures and Risk Management procedures are followed at all times and identifies matters of non-compliance.
