JOB PURPOSE: The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient delivery of all contractual deliverables and services under the agreement between DSC and the Facilities Management Company assigned and will also be responsible for the coordination of all DSC facilities to provide an exceptional service from within. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (DEGREES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES): A bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ yrs experience at a similar level in the filed of facilities management and/or a development scale of an identical nature Good understanding and application of facilities management concepts Expert knowledge of current practices in facilities management in order to identify improvement opportunities and appropriate solutions Expert knowledge in developing policies and procedures Experience working in a shared services environment COMPETENCIES Skills: Ability to develop presentations and reports to communicate with overall intent of the facilities management role Interpersonal and communication skills, both face-to-face and on the telephone Excellent management and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills Fluency in English and Arabic would be an added advantage Attributes: A strong leader and motivator Motivated and motivating A strong delegate Honest yet commercially savvy A person with strong attention to detail A Legally minded individual
