An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trade Finance Manager to join a dynamic UAE based financial organisation. Managing a team of 30 staff, you will be based in the Dubai office overseeing Islamic Trade Operations. The role is back office focused ensuring management and timely control of Trade Finance activities. You will be involved in transaction approvals, consult with business areas regarding credit and customer queries, perform root cause analysis for issues with processes and procedures as well as ensuring that the department is run efficiently.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role, you must have at least 9 years experience within a Trade Operations role managing large teams of staff. You must also have knowledge and experience of Islamic Trade Finance gained in the Far East (Malaysia/Singapore). You must have excellent project management skills and be a self-starter with the ability to lead and motivate others.
