This is an exciting new opportunity to set up and establish an investment company/division on behalf of a highly profitable and rapidly growing financial services company.

The suitable candidate will be expected to review current assets and devise a long term strategy for managing these and all future investments. They will also have responsibilities for things such as devising a rating agency proof concept for asset transfer, building a network of professional anaylsts and capital management personnel and producing regular reports on investment performance for the board.

This role could be based anywhere in the Middle East and possibly Europe depending on the candidate.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years experience with a blue chip investment bank, capital management or asset management company. They must have a track record of working at a senior level and being capable of managing all of the above responsibilities.

Other skills should include a good understanding of tax laws and Basel II, strong communication, influencing and management capabilities and previous experience of undertaking a similar role.
