Our Client is a prestigious private Investment Company, operating offices in Dubai, London and the US. They are currently looking to hire a Network and Communications Architect to manage, develop and implement Data & Voice technologies in their office in Dubai. The Network and Communications Architect will be required to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line helpdesk support to field based fault restoration and project based installation & configuration services. You will participate in project based installation and configuration, system upgrades and other professional services and respond to Customer Support from the helpdesk, taking ownership of the issues and see through to a successful resolution. You will be responsible for writing technical reports on critical service affecting incidents and provide hands-on technical support & trouble shooting for customers using Telephony applications. Also, you will be required to develop and maintain various company wide information technology network security control systems and investigate new technologies in the Networking, Voice/Video and security world. The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Computer Science/IT with a minimum of 4 years experience. You must have Cisco qualifications in Routing & Switching (CCNP, CCDP, and CCSP) as well as Cisco qualifications in call manager (CCVP). An in-depth knowledge of Data Center and Enterprise class infrastructures is essential as is proven experience in designing and maintaining complex LAN/WAN/WLAN environments including wireless and VOIP. You must be PC literate, with a good working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/XP, Excel, and Word. Interpersonal skills are very important and the ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal.
